R-RATED NOIR 2017-05-31T20:28:58+00:00

Project Description

“Isn’t it a pity? The wrong people always have money.”

This is a peak into Bob’s fascination with Noir and R-Rated Noir. Most of these selections are taken from Bob’s ‘Armed and Dangerous’, a cult favourite comic book published by Acclaim Comics. The book revolves around a group of Irish mafioso in New York city and their acquaintances. The stories, written and drawn by Bob Hall, are all black and white and of the comic-noir genre (made popular by Sin City).

  • Operation Satan 3 Page 1. I was asked to create something that felt more or less like Hammer black and while films from the 50s. I think I ended up with a cross between that and a Warren comic from the late 60s.
